PureGym St Albans

AG Surveying both tendered and commercially managed the works at Pure Gym St Albans on behalf of our client, 7formation, who acted as principal contractor on the scheme.

The works themselves comprised of:

• Strip out of existing retail unit
• Structural alterations to create open plan building
• Installation of steel mezzanine to create additional gym space within the unit
• Full fit-out of gym inclusive of specialist gym flooring and acoustic works to comply with local planning conditions

AG Surveying carried out the following:

• Successfully estimated the project inclusive of doing detailed take offs / Bill of Quantity Production, sourcing prices from specialist sub-contractors and pricing works to be self delivered by the client
• Procurement of all sub-contract packages and specialist material and equipment
• Carrying out detailed material take-off’s
• Managing all design and scope changes to ensure an accurate final account forecast was maintained at all times
• Administering sub-contract accounts
• Submitting client applications inclusive
• Production of cash flow forecasts to ensure the client could organise the necessary development finance for the works
