Main Contractors

Quantity Surveyors & Estimators for Main Contractors

Unlike many Quantity Surveying Consultants, our team possesses significant experience in managing projects from a Main Contractor perspective.

As a large proportion of our work constitutes Estimating for Subcontractors and Main Contractors, we are fully up to speed with current market costs and are used to drilling into the nuts and bolts level of details that is required when tendering.

Working within Main Contractor environments

We are both accustomed and able to fully integrate ourselves into Main Contractor organisations and pride ourselves on working collaboratively with all team members.

We can communicate through your own email systems to ensure continuity of service with your client and / or supply chain and we are typically given full access to servers and relevant commercial / accounts systems in order to provide full commercial CVR reports. We often find that once we tender a project that is secured, we are then asked to Quantity Survey the project.

How we work with Main Contractors

For some Main Contractors, we act as an overflow of their existing Estimating team or Commercial team. For others, we act as the Estimator and Quantity Surveyor for particular, key customers on more complex projects. And in some instances, we are appointed to manage or fulfil the role of an entire commercial department.

We are able to work on a fixed fee basis subject to agreeing a fixed scope of services, or on an hourly rate timesheet basis (whichever is preferable to you, our client).

We are here to work with you and your systems, and are happy to tailor everything we do to suit your business needs. AG Surveying is built on repeat business, and we always insist our engagement is made clear from the start to guarantee that the product and service we provide exceeds your expectations.
