Howard House

Summary

AG Surveying worked on behalf of the client, Clydesdale Bank, carrying out fund monitoring for one of their customers’ property developments. The works at Howard House involved the conversion of an old industrial warehouse to a 3 storey serviced office development, including a full fit out.

The works

AG Surveying was engaged to carry out an initial estimate for the development works from a 3 storey warehouse-to-office conversion, along with ongoing fund monitoring of the works to comply with Clydesdale Bank’s lending protocols.

The refurbishment works included: structural mezzanine flooring, remodelling of internal layouts, full fit-out including mechanical and electrical works, external cladding and external landscaping to provide new car parking facilities to the front and rear of the building.

The outcome

Both Clydesdale Bank and the developer carrying out the works were very happy with the work AG Surveying carried out during the project. The original forecast proved to be an accurate assessment of the works and all interim valuations to enable money to be released to the developer to continue with the works were carried out in a timely manner to ensure there were no delays to the construction programme.
