Curzon Street Station, Birmingham

Summary

AG Surveying was appointed in May 2019 to provide full quantity surveying support for the redevelopment of Curzon Street Station in Birmingham city centre. This grade II listed train station is being converted into head office for HS2 – high speed railway 2 – with direct links to London.

Curzon Street Station will be at the heart of the high speed rail network.

The works

Works will include:

• restoring the stone facade, windows, doors and roof
• reconfiguration and fit out within the parameters set by grade II conservation requirements
• landscaping works

AG surveying will be procuring all subcontractor packages, administering NEC contracts, dealing with payment applications, managing the change process and commercially managing all aspects of the project.
