The Bothy, Braughing

AG Surveying has undertaken all Quantity Surveying for their client, Adam Brockley, on the redevelopment of his property in Braughing, Hertfordshire.

The client, the owner of the property and a developer, had embarked on an ambitious project to build his very own dream house. Unfortunately, he had had a bad experience with the first builders he had used and had to pause works. AG Surveying was engaged to support the continuation of this project with a new building firm.

This was a complex project for AG Surveying as we were employed to cost manage ongoing works without a clear idea of the standard of works already carried out. As it turned out, the initial building works were below standard and as such, costs increased as these existing mistakes were rectified.

AG Surveying closely managed all costs for this project throughout and the final build was completed on budget.
