Platinum Package

The Platinum package is best suited to Building Contractors who are tendering for high value jobs or who are highly likely to win the work and therefore want to ensure accurate pricing from a profitability perspective. 

The premium Platinum package includes a full, detailed Project Estimate and one to one support with an appointed AG Surveying Estimator, as well as site visits when required.

Package Inclusions

Site conditions and constraints

AG Surveying will visit site to determine access conditions and estimate costs accordingly.

Prelims

The team will discuss prelim requirements with the client, i.e. levels of management, cost of management, welfare being provided etc. and estimate accordingly.

Scaffolding

The Estimating team agree on the scope of works with the client and send enquiries to the client's preferred scaffolding contractor/(s) and estimate costs using their quote.

Enabling / Demolition Works

The client will meet with our Estimating team to advise on labour outputs and costs for each item, and advise if there are any requirements (i.e. relocate gate or fence, take down conservatory etc.). If any requirements are advised then approx budgets for material, plant and waste to be estimated by AG Surveying for client approval.

Groundworks / Foundations

The client will meet with our Estimating team to advise on labour outputs and costs for each item. All works will then be quantified and priced with labour, plant, muck away and material budgets estimated by AG Surveying.

Drainage

If no design is in place extent of works it to be discussed on site visit (by client or AGS depending on requirements) with the homeowner to understand existing drainage systems in place and likely drainage works required then approx budgets for material, plant and waste to be estimated by AGS. Client comes to our offices and advises on labour outputs and costs for each item.

With design provided, budgets for labour, material, plant and waste to be discussed personally with an AG Surveying Estimator.

Ground Floor Build Up

The client will meet with our Estimating team to advise on labour outputs and costs for each item. All works to be quantified and priced with labour, plant, muck away and material budgets estimated by AG Surveying for client to approve.

External Walls

The client will meet with our Estimating team to advise on labour outputs and costs for each item. All works to be quantified and priced with labour, plant, muck away and material budgets estimated by AG Surveying for client to approve.

Strip Out Works

The client will meet with our Estimating team to advise on labour outputs and costs for each item. AG Surveying will visit site to determine the extent of works in detail and build budgets accordingly. AG Surveying will state what rooms and items have been allowed for for client approval. 

Structural Works

If no design is in place 'provisional sum' to be added to the price for structural works or it is to be excluded if advised by client.

If design is provided, the client will meet with our Estimating team to advise on labour outputs and costs for each item. Enquiries are sent out for steel prices by AG Surveying for more accurate costings. Work requirements to be scheduled out with budgets for material, plant and waste as estimated by AG Surveying for each element of works.

Any additional requirements will be picked up from site visit.

Roof Carcass

If design is provided, the client will meet with our Estimating team to advise on labour outputs and costs for each item. Area of roof to me measured, budgets for material, plant and waste to be estimated by AG Surveying. Flat roofs and pitched roofs to be separated.

Roof Covering

Area of roof to me measured, approx budgets for material, plant and waste to be estimated by AG Surveying for client approval. We prepare and send enquiries to clients preferred roofing contractor/(s) and estimate costs using their quote. Flat roofs and pitched roofs to be separated.

Fascias, Soffits, Barge Boards & Gutters

Combined linear meter to be measured, all assumed to be in white and black UPVC unless stated otherwise on drawings, approx budgets for material and labour to be estimated by AG Surveying for client approval. Existing material to be assess on site visit and price and scope to be calculated accordingly.

External Windows and Doors

AG Surveying determine specification (i.e. Ali, UPVC, Timber, Colours) and send out enquiries to suppliers / subcontractors and estimate costs using their quotes.

Stairs

AG Surveying determine specification and send out enquiries to suppliers / subcontractors and estimate costs using their quotes.

Internal Fit-Out

AGS to discuss requirements on site with homeowner in detail and ensure all requirements are captured.

Kitchen (Including worktop)

Price based on homeowners requirements and obtaining prices for materials and estimating labour budget for installation.

Plasterboarding & Plastering

All works to be quantified and priced with market labour and material budgets per square meter estimated by AG Surveying for client to approve. Locations allowed to be stated.

Any additional requirements will be picked up on site visit.

Decorating

All works to be quantified and priced with market labour and material budgets per square meter estimated by AGS for client to approve. Locations allowed to be stated.

Any additional requirements will be picked up on site visit.

Wall & Floor Finishes

Work requirements to be scheduled out and quantified with approx budgets for material and labour to be estimated on meter square rates by AGS for each element of works for client approval. Material allowances for floor and wall coverings to be stated so it is clear to home owner what has been budgeted.

Additional / specific requirements will be picked up on site visit.

Plumbing & Electrics

Full scope of works to be produced / determined from drawings and enquiries sent to clients preferred roofing contractor/(s) and estimate costs using their quote, and scope clarified on our estimate.

Detailed requirements will be discussed on site visit with homeowner and recorded and priced accordingly.

Supply of sanitaryware and shower screens

If specification is provided, obatin prices for the products and estimate accordingly. If not State as 'excluded' or 'Provisional Sum' to be added.

Mastic

Budget allowance to be estimated.

Build Clean

Budget allowance to be estimated.

External Works / Landscaping / Alterations / Making Good

Detailed estimate to be provided, obtaining prices for specialist material and Subcontractors as appropriate.
