Supporting clients through RIBA Stage 5 - The Construction & Handover Stage
AG Surveying supports clients at RIBA Stage 5 when the building works are taking place.
If Construction Issue design fully completed prior to works starting with the support of a specialist team of Quantity Surveyors, there should be little to no need for any further design activity during the Construction Stage, other than dealing with site queries, reviewing specialist design proposals and client changes.
During stages 5 and 6 we will:
- Monitor cost impact of variations
- Visit site to assess what works have been complete, and certify payment to the Contractor
- Provide advice on contract claims
- Provide commercial reports
- Manage the settlement of final payment and account
- Provide feedback for future cost estimates
- Manage and report on costs against budget
- Attend progress meetings
- Highlighting any commercial risks that may become apparent on the project
We will manage the commercial process the expenditure and reporting of all costs of the project on the clients behalf from start to finish.
